Louise, who is Director of Social Responsibility has been fundamental in developing First Ark’s strategic approach to responsive business as well as shaping the delivery of the Advantage scheme which invests in projects for communities; creating jobs, training and volunteer opportunities, supporting new business and social enterprise. Louise and her team are currently working in partnerhsip with The Women's Organisation to support women in Knowsley who are considering self-employment.
Louise was seen as a ‘Game Changer’ because of how enthusiastic she is about service excellence and delivering real value to local people.
Stephen Howard, Chief Executive, Business in the Community said: “We are delighted to be able to recognise some of the brightest stars in corporate responsibility through our Game Changers award. As a campaigning membership organisation we are dependent on individuals from business to help us drive the agenda. Without the energy and passion of Game Changers like Louise I doubt very much if the UK responsible business movement would be quite so mature. They truly deserve this recognition which I hope will act as an inspiration to others.”
CEO of The Women's Organisation Maggie O'Carroll who is also Chair of VIVARK was delighted to learn of the award and on behalf of all at The WO wishes Louise "Many Congratulations".
