Congrats Women in Business Award Winners! | The Women’s Organisation | #WIBA15

Friday was the big day for Liverpool’s Business Women as it was the culmination of months of nominations, shortlisting and excitement. The Women’s Organisation were delighted to be partners of the Downtown Women in Business Awards 2015 and had a fantastic afternoon celebrating the achievements of these incredible women.

The winners were as follows:

Best Newcomer – Chocolate Envelope Designs - Hana Awwad

Environmental & Sustainability Award – Ancorra Environmental Services - Jennie Riding 

A Decade of Excellence in Business – Jan Peters, USP Creative

Best Female Led Customer Focuses Business of the Year – Bromley Cleaning

Professional of the Year – Alison Lobb, Morecrofts

Best Marketer of the Year – Sara-Wilde-McKeown, Influential

Female Business Enabler of the Year – Cllr Rosie Jolly, Mayoral Lead for Social & Community Enterprise

Female Apprentice of the Year – Tam Hardman, Community Wellbeing Apprentice at Regenda

Award for Outstanding Leadership & Management – Katherine Sheerin, Liverpool CCG

Business of the Year – Cloud Business Centre - Karla Billington

Entrepreneur of the Year - Kim Kaewkraikhot, Chaophraya 

The event was a great showcase of women succeeding in business and enterprise all across Merseyside and The Women’s Organisation were thrilled to be a part of it. CEO Maggie O’Carroll said;

‘Every year we hear new stories of leadership, success and achievement. Merseyside is a very good example of a business community where the gender balance is being addressed by talented women breaking through and establishing themselves at the forefront of the regional economy, be that in the corporate boardroom or by establishing their own successful businesses’ 

Hana Awwad from Chocolate Envelope Designs took home Best Newcomer Award! We are delighted to have supported Hana in starting up her business!

Jennie Riding of Ancorra Environmental Services with her Environmental & Sustainiabilty Award. We are pleased to have supported Jennie in the developing and growing of Ancorra and congratulate her on her award!
