The Women’s Organisation Partners Up With Liverpool Loves Festival

The Women’s Organisation are delighted to announce that we will be part of the Liverpool Loves festival, which is taking place this August brought to your by Orb Events CIC. Liverpool Loves will be a three day event (6th, 7th, 8th August) at the Pier Head and is all about promoting local businesses and celebrating everything we love about Liverpool.

Liverpool Loves Business will be our first port of call, and the festival organisers say;

‘Our city region has one of the best independent sectors in the UK with 99.6% of all companies being SME’s. Liverpool Loves Business puts people at the heart of the event and gives you the opportunity to connect with other business minded folk, explore the fantastic opportunities here at home and work towards a stronger future, together.’

They will be promoting local organisations, independents and social enterprises to redirect business into socially responsible causes; ‘We’ve got a commitment to put people at the forefront of this event and provide a platform for you, the public to rediscover your city region.’

The Women’s Organisation are excited to take part in this new pilot festival, especially as our CEO Maggie O’Carroll will be taking part in seminars and discussions on Thursday 6th August at an all-day business event, and we will be hosting a women’s networking session there too!

Managing Director of Orb Event Solutions CIC, Josh who is co-ordinating the festival has said;

"The Women's Organisation is a hugely important to our local business community in the city. As a champion of creating the right environment for business people to flourish and for empowering women through economic development - we are very excited to have them on board as a partner of Liverpool Loves Business.

We feel that The Women's Organisation will bring a strong and valued contribution to our seminar and networking programme; with knowledge and expertise to share with all visitors to the event. We urge members and associates of The Women's Organisation to come along and show your support."

The festival looks fantastic with Liverpool Loves Business, Liverpool Loves Culture, Liverpool Loves Food and Liverpool Loves Well-being being the main key themes, and lots of exciting events going on around them.

So put that weekend in your diary, and in the meantime keep up to date with all of their news on Social Media and their website
