If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a café, or opening up a restaurant or bar, but are just not sure where to start – The Women’s Organisation is here to help! Learn what you need to know to make your food business dream a reality!
It can all seem a bit overwhelming with so many guidelines and regulations to navigate, but we want to break it down for you and help you to understand the things that you need to do before you can start your food and drink business.
On Tuesday 24th May from 10am – 1pm, The Women’s Organisation is hosting a ‘Make Food Your Business’ free event! We will be covering topics such as working from home, looking at premises, who your target customers are and what qualifications and certificates you will need. If you want to make your food business a success, then this is the event for you!
As well as this, we will be hearing from two women who are running their own food businesses, so we can hear their stories of they made it, and get tips and advice from those who have done it! We will be joined by Mia Tagg, Co-Founder of Pao! Who are an Asian Street Food catering business, and Paula James who runs PJ’s Kitchen in Litherland and delivers Gluten Free, Organic, High Protein meal plans. Both Mia and Paula have received support from The Women’s Organisation and will be at our event to tell their inspirational stories!
